Joe O'Shia was married to my paternal aunt Frances Dortch (daughter of Montana Kennedy Dortch and Logan Dortch and sister to Batson and Wilson Dortch, among others) for many years. I remember Joe as a cheerful, friendly man who was always kind and helpful. We loved him and always looked forward to visits from Aunt Frances and Joe. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife Mae, his son Joe, and those others who mourn his passing.
