Bobby James Bryant, 70 of Dover, TN passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born December 14, 1946 in St. Louis, MO son of the late Earnest and Martha Harris Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a retired truck driver and attended Fairview Baptist Church in Dover. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Fallowell Bryant, brothers, Earnest Bryant, Jr., Kenneth Bryant, and sister, Susie Bryant. Survivors include his daughters, Alice Bryant, Dover, TN, Deborah Rowlett, Dover, TN, grandchildren, James Rowlett, William Rowlett, Haley Rowlett, Jessica Choate, Heather Leese, Mackayla Smith and great grandchild, Addilyn Strickland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm at his residence, 207 Everett Watson Rd., Dover, TN, with Cody Choate officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will start on Saturday, April 22, 2017 after 4:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday, April 24, 2017. Pallbearers will be James Rowlett, William Rowlett, Earnest Bryant, William Fallowell, Michael Floyd, Lucas Burt, and Donald Stout, Joe Craft, Coty Dunaway, Danny Dunaway, Matthew Stout, and James Bryant.
