Dora Dean Wallace, age 79, of Clarksville, TN passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her home. She was born February 25, 1937 in Stewart County, TN, daughter of the late Green and Gracie Page Wallace. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Dyers Creek First Church of God, a long standing member of the Explorers Bible Study Group in Clarksville, TN, and a Paul Harris Fellow in the Clarksville Noon Rotary Club.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, John W. Wallace, sons, Jeff Wallace (Jill), Dover, TN, Matt Wallace (Tara), Clarksville, TN, brother, Hubert Wallace, Indian Mound, TN, sisters, Carlene Sanders, Indian Mound, TN, Deloris Krieger, Seattle, WA, grandchildren, Nathaniel and Gracie Wallace, and Cooper and Colton Wallace.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Basil Wallace, Naaman Wallace, and sister, Keoka Wallace.
The funeral service will be at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Dyers Creek First Church of God with her sons, Rev. Jeff Wallace and Matt Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 until the time of service Sunday at the Dyers Creek First Church of God. Pallbearers will be Andy Wallace, Byron Wallace, Bryan Wallace, Lee Wallace, Mike Wallace, Eric Wallace, Tony Wallace, and Nathaniel Wallace. Cooper and Colton Wallace will serve as honorary pallbearers. Anglin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
