Wanona “Sue” Walker died peacefully on April 1, 2016 in her Texas home after her fourth battle with cancer at age 71. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
Sue was born August 10, 1944 in Cadiz, KY. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hauttie Earlene Hargis and father, Albert Elmo Hargis. Sue was the youngest and only girl of 4 children, Randall Hargis and the late Raymond and Rymon Hargis.
Sue was happily married to her late husband of 48 years, Charles Walker, who passed away on January 8, 2011. She is survived by her 3 children and their spouses, Susan and David Hart, Michael and Miki Walker, and Greg and Lisa Dornback. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Victor and Monica Hart, Joshua and Kelsi Walker, Lanie Hart, Megan and Nick McConnell, Matthew Walker, Erik Dornback and Andrea Walker. Sue was also a proud great grandma of 3.
