Louise McGovern, 73 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with John Moltise and Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 5-8:00 pm and on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 9-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
She was born May 21, 1942 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late Johnny Wesley and Ruby Porter Atkins. Mrs. McGovern worked for Ely Walker, retired from Carhartt and was a member of the Sycamore Flat Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Wesley Todd Page. Survivors include her husband, Billy McGovern, Indian Mound, TN, daughters, Sandra Earhart, Big Rock, TN, Penny Nichols, Indian Mound, TN, sisters, Ruth Cherry, Dover, TN, Pat Hicks, Big Rock, TN, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ricky McGovern, Terry Cherry, Billy Parks, Bronson Phillips, Jeff Moore and Jerry Shepherd.
