Obituary for James Carr Clark

James Carr Clark, age 78, of Bumpus Mills, TN, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. William Gray and Pastor Scott Webber to officiate. Burial will be in the Pugh Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 11:00 am until the time of service Tuesday. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday.
He was born August 21, 1936 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Gilbert Scott and Jennie Carr Clark. Mr. Clark worked for the Civil Service at Ft. Campbell. He was a deacon and treasurer of the Pugh Flat Baptist Chruch. He was also a member of the Lineport Masonic Lodge #207.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, John Clark and sister, Janie Ruth Clark. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley Futrell Clark, Bumpus Mills, son, Jeff Clark (Sheri), Indian Mound, daughter, Johanna Lee (Scott), Joelton, TN, daughter-in-law, Christy Clark Hayes, Dover, brother, Gilbert Scott Clark, Jr. (Naomi), Cadiz, KY, grandchildren, Katelyn Clark, Sara Clark, and Jamey Clark.
Pallbearers will be Paul Hester, Chad Lancaster, Stacy Gibbs, Tracy Gibbs, Ricky Howell, Frankie Gibbs, Jimmy Wyatt, Booger Watson, Tommy Wyatt, Dennis Elliott, and Michael Wolfe.
