Mr. James Dale ‘Jimmy ‘ Leis, age 63 of Indian Mound, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at his home. He was born September 17, 1954 in Middletown, OH, son of the late George William and Nannie Turner Leis. Mr. Leis was a retired electrician and retired from Copaz, Inc. where he worked as a meat processor. He attended the Tabernacle Church, Indian Mound, TN.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Milford Allen Leis and Edward William Leis. Survivors include his son, James Michael Leis, Middletown, OH, daughter Tammy Taylor (Donnie), Troy, OH, sisters, Linda Pieratt, Indian Mound, TN, Barbara Clark (Gerald), Cunningham, TN, Debra Marsh (Rick), Indian Mound, TN, grandchildren, Hailey Taylor, Eric Taylor, Andy Leis, and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Tabernacle Church, Indian Mound Campus, with Bro. Anthony Daley and Bro. Shawn Daley officiating, burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Pallbearers will be James Leis, Randall Marsh, Garrett Keatts, Devin Daley, Brian Pieratt, Billy Johnson, Donnie Taylor, and Jeff Ladd. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Marsh, Gerald Clark, Thomas Whitlock, and Anthony Ward.
