James Eural Hudson, 83 of Carlisle, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born March 19, 1934 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Jack and Aunie Harvey Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a factory worker, a maintenance worker for the Stewart Co. Courthouse and a member and deacon of the Carlisle Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Barnette Hudson, son, Steve Ewing Hudson and sister, Dorothy Genice Hamilton. Survivors include his daughter in law, Vernece Hudson, Cumberland City, TN, grandsons, Chris Hudson, Clarksville, TN, Chad Hudson, Waverly, TN, great granddaughters, Alyssa, Abbie, Ashlynn, Emma and Emily and honorary, Makayleigh and Erica Lackey, brothers, Frank Hudson (Sharon), Hopkinsville, KY, Harry Hudson (Betty), Hopkinsville, KY and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Houske and Rev. Tim McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 5-8:00 pm and on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 9:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Eads, Jerry Eads, John Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, Jimmy Lewis, Rick Joiner, Mitchell Welker and David Anderson.
