Ronald “Buck” Buchanan, 77 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 2, 1940 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Eugene Ford Buchanan and Sammie Estelle Slaughter Buchanan. Mr. Buchanan was a retired project manager and estimator for Jones Brothers Construction, a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and a mason with the Charity Lodge, Cumberland City. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Kay Scarborough Buchanan, Indian Mound, TN, son, Scotty Buchanan (Lisa), Indian Mound, TN, daughter, Rhonda Buchanan Howell (Christopher), Columbia, SC, brothers, Jimmy Samuel Buchanan, Clarksville, TN, Kyle Leon Buchanan, Indian Mound, TN, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Sammie Wallace and Bro. Roland Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunbar Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5-8:00 pm and on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 10-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Christopher Howell, Jameson Halliburton, Eddie Golliday, Harold Chester, Theo Richardson and Robert Allen.
