James Woodrow  Gray
James Woodrow Gray, 92 of Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1924 in Stewart County, TN son of the late Andrew and Dovie D. Powers Gray. Mr. Gray served in the United States Army and was a WWII veteran. He owned and operated Gray’s Junkyard for more than 50 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nina Mae Westerman Gray, son, James Woodrow Gray Jr., daughter, Lisa Michelle Wallace, brother, Sidney Earl Gray, sister, Verlon Ruth Elliott. Survivors include his daughters, Dixie Wallace (Roger), Dover, TN, Ellen Harper (Greg), Indian Mound, TN, brother, Jerry Gray, Dover, TN, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 5-8 pm and Thursday August 10, 2017 from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at Anglin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday August 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray officiating. Pallbearers will be Russell Luffman, Dennis Wallace, Michael Compton, Kenny Dortch, Jesse James Gray, Earl Gray. Burial will follow in the Lane Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
