Mr. Kurt Allen Lill, age 69, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at St. Thomas West Hospital, Nashville, TN. He was born September 11, 1948, in Chicago, IL, son of the late Donald W. and Lorraine Meyer Lill. Mr. Lill was a retired manufacturing supervisor, a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Medical Corps during Vietnam, and the former owner of Wood ‘N’ Things Furniture. He loved music, cooking, oil painting, fishing, and most of all, his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Brashinger Lill, Tennessee Ridge, TN; son, Joshua Lill (Vanda), Mt. Juliet, TN; daughters, Becky Derrick (Brandon), St. Simons Island, GA, Katie Morris (Jason), Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Glenn Lill (Brenda), Tennessee Ridge, TN, Gregg Lill (Diane), Tennessee Ridge, TN; sisters-in-law, Ginger Brashinger, IL, and Elaine Herbst, IL; grandchildren, Madison Derrick, Riley Derrick, Braden Morris, Emma Morris, Elijah Lill, and Sydney Lill.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Tennessee Ridge, TN, with Father Steve Wolf officiating, burial will follow in the Lill Cemetery, Tennessee Ridge, TN. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service Saturday at the church.
