Obituary for Sara Blanch Williams (Schmittou)

Sara Blanch Williams, age 86 of Bumpus Mills, TN passed away, September 23, 2017 at her home in Bumpus Mills, TN. She was born July 1, 1931 in Cunningham, TN, daughter of the late John and Ora Schmittou. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and attended Bumpus Mills Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Williams, brothers, John and Ellis Schmittou, and sister, Lorene Kentner. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Williams (Linda), of Tullahoma, TN, daughters, Cindy Mallory (Bill), of Allensville, KY, Debbie Atkins (Larry), of Dover, TN, and son Richard Williams (Stacy) of Mt. Juliet, TN. She was also the grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home with Mr. Phil Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Harvey Cemetery in Cunningham, TN. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Scott Williams, Drew Atkins, Steven Williams, Aaron Williams, Ben Mallory, and Eric Williams. The family requests in lieu of other memorials donations may be made to the Bumpus Mills Church of Christ for the youth, care of Michael Cheatham. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
