Hubert G. "Hubert Wallace"  Wallace
Hubert G. Wallace, age 83 of Indian Mound, TN passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Clarksville, TN. He was born February 3, 1934 in Dover, TN, son of the late Green and Gracie Page Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a retired Master Sargent in United States Air Force serving 21 years. He is a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He then retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Wallace, brothers, Basil Wallace, Naaman Wallace, sisters, Keoka Wallace, and Dora Wallace. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Rosa Passalacqua Wallace, daughters, Donna Gillum (Darrell), Indian Mound, Erika Bowers (Chris), Indian Mound, sisters, Carlene Smith, Indian Mound, and Delorse Krieger, WA, grandchildren, Derik Gillum (Christine), Devin Gillum (Aneesa), Krista Allen (Ben), Anthony Grizzard, grandson by marriage, Dylan Bowers, six great grandchildren, and Mario Cuan, of Mexico, an exchange student who became family.
A Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, with Rev. Davis Chackaleckel officiating and a tribute by nephew, Jeff Wallace, burial will follow in the Fort Donelson National Battlefield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:30, with the Rosary beginning at 11:30 am Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Derik Gillum, Devin Gillum, Anthony Grizzard, Mario Cuan, Larry Smith, Mike Wallace, Byron Wallace, Andy Wallace and Matt Wallace.
