Charles (Chuck) Raymond Bush, age 73, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was born December 19, 1943 on Hurricane Creek in Houston County. Chuck lived his entire life on Hurricane Creek, coon hunting, squirrel hunting and gardening. He also logged timber for 57 years, many of those years with his mules. Chuck is preceded in death by parents, Nick Bush and Lucy Mae Settles Brake, brother, Earl Bush, daughter, Cheri Hall and granddaughter, Madison Bush. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Barbara Waggoner Bush, son, Ron (Buddy) Gregory, Indiana, Raymond Bush (Tiffany), Erin, TN, Uriah Bush, Dover, TN, brothers, John Bush, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Howard Bush, Stewart, TN, Wrenn Bush, Stewart, TN, sisters, Bertha Bell, MI, Betty Rapisardi, Cumberland City, TN, Bernice Lewis, Tenn. Ridge, TN, Sheila Gray, Dover, TN, Rita Clements, Cumberland City, TN, and grandchildren, Ashleigh Perez, AL, Katie and Allie Morrison, Clarksville, TN, Cheri Gregory Hall, Clarksville, TN, little Tiffany Gregory, FL, Hannah Bush, Erin, TN and Riley Jackson, Dover, TN.
He was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church, Erin, TN. Chuck’s wishes were to be cremated and buried in the Bush Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Bible Baptist Church, Erin, TN for family and friends. Bro. David Cook will officiate.
