Edward Eugene Russell, age 84 of Dover, TN passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Paris Healthcare. He was born July 12, 1932 in Alabama son of Jessie Andrew and Leona Mae Rogers Russell. Mr. Russell was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. Glass Plant, Nashville, TN after 36 years and was member of the United Auto Workers.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy, Katherine, and Nell, brothers, Sonny and Andrew Russell.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Dorothy Hudgins Russell, son, Eddie Russell, Dover, TN, brothers, Johnny Russell, Indianapolis, IN, Ron Russell, Indianapolis, IN, Richard Russell, Indianapolis, IN, Barry Russell, Greenbrier, TN, Larry Russell, Indianapolis, IN, sister, Betty Hansen, Jonesboro, AR, grandchildren, Brandon and Lisa Russell.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Anglin Funeral Home with, Aric Russell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday and from 12:00 until the time of service on Wednesday. His remains will be cremated. Arrangements entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN.
