Hattie Heflin  Hawkins
Hattie Dora Heflin Hawkins, age 89, of Big Rock, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her home. She was born January 25, 1927 in Stewart County, TN daughter of the late George and Sally Tucker Heflin. Mrs. Hawkins was a member of the Sycamore Flat Church of Christ and retired from the Civil Service.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Creighton Hawkins and brother, George Heflin, Jr. Survivors include her son, Sam Hawkins (Anita), Indian Mound, daughter, Cheryl Moore (Jeff), Indian Mound, sister, Alberta Whitehead, Dover, sister-in-law, Laverne Heflin, Cunningham, TN, grandchildren, Tim Hawkins (Tamara), Michael, Robert, and Deborah Moore, great grandchildren, Brianna Eisan (Kris), Kelsey, Tyler, and Megan Hawkins, and great-great grandchild, Levi Eisan.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Forrest Suddeath officiating, burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 11:00 am until the time of service Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Robert Moore, Tyler Hawkins, Tim Hawkins, Glenn Heflin, and Kris Eisan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
