Edna Ruth Jackson, 82 of Dover, TN passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 1, 1934 in Tharpe, TN daughter of the late Clay and Ruby Barrow Earon. Mrs. Jackson was retired clothing inspector and attended Mt. View Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jackson. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Ann Atkins, Dover, TN, brother, Eadmon Earon, Granite City, IL, sister, Emma Lee Jackson, Dover, TN, grandson, Kevin Dewayne Largent, Dover, TN and great grandson, Hunter Blake Largent, Almo, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Clendenen officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 5-8:00 pm and on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 12-2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Lights of Love, mail to Diversicare, c/o of Jan Shemwell, P.O. Box 399, Dover, TN. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
