Joe Darrell Boren, 73 of Dover, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Tennova Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1942 in Stewart Co., TN son of the late Luther Sanford Boren and Lerlean Knight Boren. Mr. Boren worked in masonry. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Tolley, brother, Monroe Boren, and sisters, Louise Boren, Mary Faye Shepherd, Maddie Hooks, Wanda Stack, and Jane O’Neal. Survivors include his wife, Helen Page Boren, Dover, TN, sons, Raymond Tolley, NJ, James Tolley, Erin, TN, daughters, Vivian Tolley Adams, Dickson, TN, Barbara Baggett, Dover, TN, brother, Larry Boren, Dover, TN, sisters, Carolyn Earhart, Granite City, IL, Robbye Wallace, Dover, TN, sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Joe Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 4-8:00 pm and on Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 10:00 am until the hour of service at Anglin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kenny Baggett, Mark Porter, Larry Boren, Chris Porter, Daniel Eckard and Woody Adams. Arrangement are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
