James Roger Dennis, age 79, of Springville, TN, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Paris Healthcare. He was born March 12, 1937 in Stewart County, TN, son of the late Henry C. and Bessie Cheatham Dennis. Mr. Dennis owned and operated an auto body repair business.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by six brothers. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Edwards Dennis, Springville, TN, son, Timothy Dennis, Collinsville, IL, daughters, Vickie Ann Bagi, Granite City, IL, Donna Lynn Claypool (Kevin), Collinsville, IL, sister, Loretta Vires (Albert), Dover, TN, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five step children, and several step grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will be in the Green Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 8:00 pm on Monday at Anglin Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the time of service Tuesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
