Daniel  Shelton
Mr. Daniel Shelton, age 80 of Eddyville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 in San Diego, California. He was born May 31, 1936 in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, son of the late Guy and Bertha Miles Shelton. Mr. Shelton retired from the United Parcel Service.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Flora Vaughn Shelton, son, Mark Shelton, San Diego, California, daughter, Debbie Watson, Mesquite, Nevada, sister, Estie McGinnis, Michigan, grandchildren, Rachel, Justin, Devin, Eden, great granddaughter, Olivia, sister-in-law, Allene Shelton, Nashville, Tennessee and Rebecca Shelton, Martin, TN.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Hershel Shelton, Hewell Shelton, Minos Shelton, Garnet Shelton, Manuel Shelton, sisters, Vonnie Hargrove and Elsie Cox.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Crow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of service Sunday. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
