Harvey Otis Griffin, Jr., 66 of Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born February 22, 1950 in Durham, NC son of Harvey Griffin, Sr. and Ernestine Hinson Daves. Mr. Griffin was a truck driver and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He is preceded in death by father. Survivors include his mother of Dover, TN, sons, David Griffin, Kerrville, TX, Daniel Griffin (Becky), Houston, TX, daughter, Vicky Holman (David), Republic, MO, brothers, Gary Griffin, Branson, MO, Randall Daves, Cartersville, VA, sisters, Sharon Stinson, Dover, TN, Vicky Kennedy, Goldsboro, NC, Tavy Eyre, Dover, TN, Robin Adams, Dover, TN, and grandchildren, Dayton and Kaylee Holman and Parker Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home and on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 1-2:00 pm at the Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church of God. Funeral services will held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church of God with Bro. Billy Jameson officiating, burial will follow in the Grace Gardens Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
