Ronald Edward "Ronnie"  Byrd
Ronald Edward Byrd, 61 of Dover, TN passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. A masonic service will be held graveside with the burial to follow in the Grace Gardens Cemetery, Dover, TN. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4-8:00 pm and on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 12-2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born June 12, 1954 in Indian Mound, TN son of the late Wyley and Louise Mitchell Byrd. Mr. Byrd was retired from Larson’s Enterprises, Clarksville, TN, a licensed minister, owned and operated several businesses in Stewart County, worked with the CDC at Stewart Co. High School, a member of the Fort Donelson Pentecostal Church of God, a member of the Indian Mound Masonic Lodge # 303 and the Iron Mountain Eastern Star #412 and the Sword of Bunker Hill. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Doyle Byrd. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Crutcher Byrd, Dover, TN, son, Mitchell Byrd (Holly), Dover, TN, sisters, Brooksie Denney, Clarksville, TN, grandchildren, Makayleigh and Jonathan Byrd and mother in law, Ronetta Crutcher, Dover, TN. Pallbearers will be Jim Dowdy, Dylan Lancaster, Wes Byrd, Bryan Byrd, Larry Smith, Jimmy Fitzhugh, Terry Fitzhugh and Glenn Heflin.
In lieu of other memorials, donations may be made to the Special Olympics.
