Billy Marion Hicks, 74 of Buchanan, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare, Clarksville, TN. Funeral and masonic services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 12-2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born December 24, 1941 in Dover, TN son of the late Green and Fannie James Hicks. Mr. Hicks was a barber, worked for Holley Carburetor, member of the New Haven Methodist Church, Bumpus Mills Lineport Lodge #207 and the AmVets. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Leon Hicks and sisters, Frances Young and Martha Wallace. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Warden Hicks, children, Denise Hicks, Dwayne Hicks (Amy) and Deanna Hicks Wallace, sisters, Evelyn Link (James), Sue Cutshall, Brooxie O’Bryant, grandchildren, Jenny Spivey (Kyle), Josh Shemwell (Courtney), Adam Hicks, AJ Wallace, Nathan Wallace and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ronnie Hicks and Todd Wallace.
