Floyd Henry Adams, 87 of Dover, TN passed away on February 27, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Cemetery, Dover, TN with Charlie Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 5-8:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Inc.
He was born November 11, 1928 in Carlisle, TN son of the late Homer and Ora Jackson Adams. Mr. Adams was a WWII veteran with the U.S. Army Air Corp, retired pipefitter with Granite City Steel, and a taxidermist. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Eddie Mae Smith Adams and second wife, Elaine Tinsley Adams, son, David Adams, daughter, Judy Adams, brothers, Pete Adams, Edward Adams, sister, Marie Johnston and grandson, Chris Adams. Survivors include his son, Wayne Adams, (Elaine) Carlisle, TN, daughter in law, Robin Adams, Dover, TN, step daughter, Wendy Gilliam, Goodlettsville, TN, brother, Wilton Adams, Carlisle, TN, sister, Thelma Delashmit, Carlisle, TN, Mary Ellen Wafford, Granite City, IL, 7 grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
