Kathryn Taylor Adams, 68 of Big Rock, TN passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Taylor's Chapel Church of God with Rev. Del Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Taylor's Chapel Cemetery, Big Rock, TN. Visitation will be on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 1-3:00 pm at the Taylor's Chapel Church of God.
She was born August 6, 1946 in Stewart Co., TN daughter of the late George and Lucy Dennis Taylor. Mrs. Adams was a range controller at Fort Campbell, member of the Taylor's Chapel Church of God and a honorary member of the 5th group 52nd Special Forces. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Adams and two sisters. Survivors include her sons, Jeffery Elliott, Dover, TN and Danny Adams (Angela), Big Rock, TN, daughters, Kimberly Allran, Big Rock, TN and Tracy Adams Layfield (Tommy), Bumpus Mills, TN, brother, Walton Taylor, Dover, TN, sister, June Kinney, Dover, TN, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
