Obituary for Mabel Vick

Mabel Hancock Vick, 94, Dover, TN passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Manor House of Dover. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wallace and Verlon Pritchett officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4:30-8:00 pm and Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 9-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. She was born March 29, 1918 in LaFayette, KY daughter of the late Norris and Belvie Dunn Hancock. Mrs. Vick was as homemaker and a member of Dyers Creek First Church of God, Dover, TN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edison Vick, brothers, Richard Hancock and Clifton Hancock and sisters, Charlene Hutchison and Katie Elliott. Survivors include two daughters, Myrna Vick Phillips (Floyd), Dover, TN, Shirley Vick Bryant (David), Dover, TN; son, Fred Vick (Pat), Almo, KY; grandchildren, Sherry Garner, Sheila Gordon, David E. Bryant , LeAnne Jameson, Bart Bryant and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Quinn Garner, Verlon "Bubba" Pritchett, Dean Vick, Louie Hancock, Roy Buck and Charles Hutchison. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dyers Creek First Church of God.
