Obituary for George Nunn

George Mulburn Nunn, 68, Dover, TN passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home with Joe McNulty and Tony Chester officiating. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 3:30-8:00 pm and on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9-11:00 am at Anglin Funeral Home. He was born January 19, 1946 in Model, TN son of the late Aubrey and Mertie Cherry Nunn. Mr. Nunn was a retired machinist of Southern Gage. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timmy Byrd and two brothers, Gene Nunn and Robert Nunn. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Loretta Boyd Nunn, Dover, TN; daughters, Tammy Byrd Kelly (Thomas), Woodlawn, TN and Melissa Byrd Cunningham (Hugh), Dover, TN; grandchildren, Tessa Clinard, Tye Kelly, Brittney Wood, Doug Cunningham and Brandon Cunningham; great grandchildren, Taylor Clinard, Kiley Wood, Skyla Wood and Camden Clinard and two nephews, Mark Nunn and Stanley Nunn, both of Dover, TN. Pallbearers will be Randy Moore, Pat Mahuney, Paul Mahuney, Don Simmons, Hal Hutchinson, and John Stark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Artie Tanner, Mark Nunn, Stanley Nunn, Kenneth Parker, Gray Reynolds, George Dennis, Daryl Parchman, and Southern Gage Employees.
