The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sallie Newman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: It's heartbreaking to let go of someone we love, before we are ready, especially if we feel we wanted just one more week, day, hour or minute to visit with that someone. Aunt Sallie was someone that gave us a feeling like that. We always wanted just one more visit. Life gets in the way sometimes. Ultimately, death gets in the way, too. However, death is a temporary interference in our relationship with those we love and long to visit with again. Aunt Sallie developed such an incapacitating illness that seized her poor, human, frail body, all too quickly. But, she managed to hold onto her Faith, looking forward to, a better place, time, and condition for herself, and all her loved ones, who were "waiting" for her to join them, with a guarantee of restored bodies, no more tears, and no more suffering; -Only joy and laughter. She believed in these promises and prayed for the fulfillment of these. I pray to join with her and others one day, holding fast to such Faith and shed the sufferings of this World also. For now, Aunt Sallie has lived a long and happy life in this World with its many challenges and victories. We are happy that Aunt Sallie finally has peace and her Loving Father will now grant her the rewards promised from the beginning of creation. We will get that next visit, I am certain, when the time is right. En-jai, Aunt Sallie. Eternal Love.

Condolence: Praying for the peace and comfort that only God can give at this time. I am so glad that her suffering is over now and she is forever with Jesus. I know many sacrifices were made in caring for her and that God will bless. "May the Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;" Numbers 6:24-25.
